Nobody in this day and age is giving a WWII effort in a Green wave. I mean energy consumption is increasing....you know all that tech. has to be powered.
If we really want to fix this it's simple go into the 3rd world and put a stop to their population explosion and put a stop to their movement into a Western style society. That would drastically decrease energy demands and the need to continue to strip the land for agriculture to feed their masses.
We in Western society have reached a level population growth. Now the rest of the world needs to start to decline as not to over reach our resources.
