Yes, it is. Fiat currencies and central banking policies are the number one economic problem. They're distorting honest prices.
2. Having a problem with profiteers in war is ridiculous. Should they have given their stuff away free to the gov't?

3. We were fighting England then. To call that not major is also absurd.
How old are you? We weren't fighting anyone in the 1700s. Also, the AOC was enacted in March of 1781, and England surrendered in October of 1781 (not much crossover). Additionally, that wasn't an issue of states negotiating their own foreign policy (which was MBS' stated concern).
