from a rational viewpoint.
If all of the universe is just a conglomeration of molecules acting according to the laws of nature, then rationally speaking there is no such thing as "right" or "wrong", "good" or "evil". Everything just *is*, and acts according to the laws of nature.
We wouldn't say that a boulder that was shaken loose in a windstorm and rolled down a hill crushing a home and killing the sleeping family inside was an "immoral" boulder. It was just acting according to its nature.
The same would be true of a lion that killed a little child that happened to walk into his view... or a mosquito that sucked someone's blood, infecting the baby with malaria, killing her.
If a man is just a collection of atoms put there according to the laws of nature and acting according to the laws of nature, why would it be immoral of him to rape some young girl he happened across in the woods? Why would it be wrong for him to kill someone and take their goods or move into their home?
