Martin deserves some blame for these awful stretches

I get there are personnel issues with this team (and last years team), but both squads would have major issues for long stretches. Too long. A coach can call timeouts to try and break up a run and draw up some plays to try to get the offense back in sync. You can also work on momentum busting plays in practice (i.e. this is a play we are going to use in order to stop a run).
Martin far too often lets 5+ minutes roll off the clock sitting on timeouts (apparently he wants some timeouts to use later in the game when it's already out of reach because I can't find another explanation). All the while 15+ point swings have taken place.
I don't care how bad your team is. The amount of times Martin's teams have gotten into funks and the length of time those funks last are getting inexcusable as far as I'm concerned. By no means am I on the "fire Cuzonzo" bandwagon. I am still 100% on board with him. That said, I am starting to wonder if Cuonzo is the basketball version of Pinkel. Great game planner, poor at in game adjustments.
