His support for tariffs is Exhibit A.

Also, textbook economics doesn't suggest that a minimum wage can work or is a good idea. So, when the employees are fired and prices are raised because of the minimum wage, that's textbook economics rearing its head.

Economics is a descriptive, not a prescriptive discipline.
