Does she bear any responsibility/culpability? possibly.
Did she commit a crime? No, but admittedly I haven’t read the story yet.

Edit: oh, yeah. I know this story. No crime was committed

In a libertarian society, what is a possible result?
She gets sued by the deceased’s family for some form of restitution.
