Not for the country, duh, but if she can help the socialists get power, she will be given the spotlight.
Nanny pelooza is devious, deceitful, decedent and increasingly demented. But she's not stupid.
The occasional-kotex may in fact be the future of the democrat party and the current older crop of liberal democrats may need her/use her to maintain or increase their power.
Knockers Pelosi is just trying to rein her in a bit. Get her to be more of a team player and not work to disadvantage the other socialists who are not as audacious as bug eyes.
