the Attorney General may be sacrificed in order to show their commitment to diversity.
Because of his hateful, horrible, horrendous, hurtful, harmful, hideous, heinous act of putting on blackface. I weep for the millions of black people around the world who were indelibly scarred by that vile hateful act.
Of the three allegations, only one is even worth discussing. Not sure if it’s true, but if the lieutenant governor forced someone to perform a sex act, that is a felony. The other two are just stupid. If any of them happened at all.
But we have to pretend to be horrified, mortified, and shocked at these despicable acts. Not only that, we have to be more horrified than the next guy ... as the new way of virtue signaling. This has been out of hand for decades, now it is getting absurd.
The lieutenant governor has lower standards working for him and the political protection of being in a victim class.
The governor is a phony baloney Butthead but he should not resign, at least not for this. Perhaps for his willingness to kill newly born infants, but that’s another story.
My guess is that for two months from now not much will have changed. We won’t see any real repercussions of this until the next state elections. And I don’t expect much change there.
