Excuse me, did you say it doesn’t matter if individual taxes are lowered?
Oh my god. That is clearly not what I've said. I post weekly comments about how taxation is theft, and how there should no taxes on individuals, corporations, etc.
What I said is that the fact that some individuals have received recent tax cuts is irrelevant to MBS' post about taxes being down and making it more difficult to pay down the debt. Taxes aren't down. They are up at historical levels.
So the problem isn't tax cuts. The problems is spending.
That has no effect on the economy? On job creation, on spending, on the receipts to the government?
Cutting taxes has a great effect on the economy. In fact, all taxes should be cut all the way down to zero.
Just want to be sure I heard you right.
