Sanctions could be DEATH BLOW to BO

Obviously many people know how i feel about Bo, if not I'll state it. He's done a marginal job with some really nice players recruited by Gary Pinkel. You can't win against power 5 schools, you can't win a bowl game, all while you have at least 6 or 7 guys going into the NFL draft RIGHT NOW including a top 5 pick in Lock.

So you throw out a lifeline and you bring in Bryant to help stave off the inevitable which is you'll never recruit meaning BO WON'T ever get a QB as good as Lock to commit again. So lets get a transfer in here because in four recruiting classes Barry couldn't recruit in a replacement. Fine.

So Mizzou should be pretty good next year because of the talent not his coaching obviously... but fine.

Once he can't fill the biggest position on the field QB what do you think is going to happen? The whole team will come off the rails. BTW I mean ANY team will come off the rails without a QB.

Now that Lock is GONE and lets all be honest here... Bryant is NO LOCK! Bryant isn't going to come in here and break the all time TD record. He's a run first QB.

So there you have it. Now if a bunch of seniors bail on this team, sorry but you might be looking at a season that went from pre-season top 25 to 2 or 3 win year.

That is something I'm afraid that Barry will NOT be able to recover from EVER! Why? Because kids want to go to a winning program, where they think the coach will be around. If Mizzou loses a bunch of seniors and Mizzou wins 4 games next year, that years recruiting class will fall flat on its face and Barry without the ability to go after the top 300 players will be done.

Barry needs to rally his guys, hold them together, whatever coaching ability he actually has he needs to use it NOW!

He needs to hold everyone together, bowl or no bowl, go out and win 9 or 10 games so recruits won't care about the one year bowl ban.

Without his seniors Barry I'm afraid just doesn't have the street cred to recover from this.

AS A MIZZOU FAN my #1 team for the haters, I actually would prefer Barry make this program into a contender, I don't care what coaches does even if its a martian. I don't care... my beef with Barry is that I've seen enough already to determine he's not cut out for this high level of a job in what is basically the NFL farm system.

I don't hate Barry, I love Mizzou which is why I want Barry replaced, and I want Mizzou to go out, spend the money like they did with Basketball and bring in a head coach, without fear he may leave at some point, and get the guy they think can win a national championship.

There should only be ONE GOAL WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP not and I repeat not to HOPE and PRAY you can earn a trip to the HOliday bowl.

Mizzou needs Missouri players. Barry can't recruit them.

Mizzou has the facilities, we're in the SEC, we're the state that touches more states than any other state in American. There is NO REASON why we can't be stealing good players from Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, and btw MISSOURI to come play big boy football known as the SEC.

You need a head coach who can recruit. That is the name of the game. If Bo's seniors bail on him, and the season tanks I think its FAIR to state Bo will never recover from it.

I do HOPE for Mizzou sake he can convince his players to stay... I really do.
