Your claim is that inheritances "grow" the income inequality gap.
If it's a one person to one person transfer, then there should be zero change in overall wealth inequality.
If more than one person receives the inheritance, then the wealth inequality gap should go down.
Of course, we're not even considering the big fat chunk of money that the govt takes from large estates, so that should also trend the wealth inequality gap down.
Clearly, inheritances are not explanatory for income or wealth inequality. Inherently non-explanatory.
