the hurt and pain this scene caused. The humiliation, the trauma. The indelible scars on the souls of black people everywhere.
Generations of young black people will see this and be reduced to weeping, smoldering people unable to cope, knowing that white privilege, white supremacy and systemic racism are pervasive in every fiber of our nation’s traditions and history.
Black people in this country don’t have a chance. None. And some people think this is funny. Shame.
There is no excuse for this horrible, horrible, horrible, racist scene. I weep for the injured black people who were forced to witness this heinous example of American racism.
