since hokie is very serious about discussion and upset when it doesn't happen, and upset when people don't answer questions, I'm requesting an Ask Me Anything thread in which hokie begins by introducing himself and stating his principles, and opening himself up to answering questions and engendering wonderful spin-off discussions. I think it would be a good way for people to learn about and from each other
