Panels like cold, sunny climates...but at high temps (over 100F) power output can degrade by 15%-25%.
The inverters have an operating temp range of -13F to +122F.. so cold is worse than heat to the inverter.
When using a single axis tracker, wind is the biggest enemy. The tracker will 'stow' at 40mph winds and power output from the panels will be severely degraded. Likewise, trackers will stow at a 45 degree angle (or so) in snowy conditions in order to shed the snow does not accumulate on the panel and make the system too heavy for the tracker motor to operate.
