I am STRONGLY in favor of mandatory Religious studies beginning in maybe the 7th grade or so and make them intensive. Let these children enter their teens and they adulthood knowing that much of the sht thrown about re: not Western faith models are crap. Increases understanding of THAT would be huge.

Enfording Bible Study - No. Those guys are the ones who say THIS and only THIS is inerrant word of the Creator, the Demi-urge, the God. They could see other faith traditions with other interpretations that openly admit- we are not sure who wrote this but for centuries its wisdom has served.
