One of the most obvious problems with so called Darwinian evolution, is which came first? The change, or the oft promoted "need" to adapt.
Considering the rapid changes in the earth in a single day, or a year, what happens if there is a sudden change in the creature, but not the environment? The creature now has gills, but lives in the desert?
What happens if there is a sudden change in the environment, but no change in the creature? The creature is okay with 20 degree weather, but won't "evolve" quickly enough to survive 2 days of subzero temperatures with windchills in the -30 to -60 range.
The need and speed need to match. All of these claimed changes supposedly occur over a vast segment of time. It is not reasonable to believe they would all occur at the same rate of speed. There are too many variables which are assumed, but not proven. One story about one bird on one island which adapted over one year during a drought is not evidence of change of species.
The speaker even admits you can never be 100% certain with science at the beginning of his lecture. If that is true, is there not some element of faith in considering it as fact, to the degree he feels comfortable mocking on a regular basis, those who disagree with his conclusions?
He rolls out statements and assumes the truth of them. It is mostly tossing things out there, with little or no proof to support what he said. There are huge gaps in logic. There is no detail, to the degree something needs to be proven, to call this science. It's more a mockumentory with an occasional splash of tirade than a presentation of facts without huge gaps from step to step.
There are more suggested "facts" in the second half of the video, but many assumptions are made about the data. "Why would a Creator do this or that?, it makes no sense" is a common question and response. The speaker ignores the oft repeated truth that God will use foolish things to confound the wise. That they can't see how and why they are confounded is clearly spelled out in 1 Corinthians Chapter 2, as well as Isaiah 55 and other places.
The video fails to deliver proof necessary to convince. Worse it reveals what is at the heart of their efforts. While poorly stated, as taking down religion, the real goal is to cause people to abandon faith in God. The mask is off, and the evil intention is exposed.
There are a number of problems with that, which are far too many for this post.
