Lastly, I'm totally free to have my own opinion. My opinion as a MIZZOU FAN is that Barry Odom should NOT have EVER been given this job.
There is NOT ONE SCHOOL in the SEC or even Big 10, Big 12, anywhere that would have hired a guy with NO Head coaching experience, and was totally unproven as a coordinator. We're not talking about a coordinator who headed up Alabama here we're talking about a coordinator who came from a team that just finished 5-7.
NO SEC team would have EVER consider this guy. From my standpoint that is Mizzou Admin just giving up or panic move. Barry Odom no matter what 'retarded' comment you make towards me, is LEARNING ON THE JOB! END OF STORY!
He's making mountains of mistakes. Mizzou is in the SEC buddy... he's the lowest paid coach, Alabama has coordinators making more than Barry.
Sorry that I want MIZZOU TO GO FOR IT and stop acting like babies... why can't we be great? Is that a lost concept? Gary Pinkel has already proven Mizzou can be great, but it starts with recruiting MISSOURI PLAYERS!
Something Barry has TOTALLY FAILED TO DO ... he's landed no top four in state targets in four recruiting classes, and only landed 13 Missouri guys in four years. That isn' t going to build the program. Forget about all his dumb coaching gaffes ...

I will be proven right as I already was about Anderson. Look at the basketball program now its totally down and out. The stands use to be packed with fans now its half empty. Will it turn around who knows but at least they're paying a guy a lot of money to try.
