I don't find it all that offensive in that context. But I don't offend easy myself. I laugh if called a cracker, I joke about drunkin Irish. I don't mind German jokes either except when I am falsely accused of being a Nazi.
But I do know it is nothing but mockery and bigotry during a prayer chant.

OTOH its not anything I would do nor have done, and now that you know they find it offensive are you still going to defend it? And what the Trump Youth did?
