... because the Chiefs Defense couldn't make stops.
That's what happens when you have a defensive line that can't get anywhere close to the QB.
Every play New England ran was for positive yardage.
And the defense allowed 13 of 19 3rd down completions.
They couldn't stop it when it was 3rd and 3, or 3rd and 13.
They were 95% at fault. They got two INTs to take their effort from an F to a D-.
Meanwhile... the offense and Mahomes were the only reason KC even had a chance.
And they took the lead multiple times in the 2nd half, and multiple times the defense let the Pats walk right over them and retake it.
So yeah.... on first and second glance, the defense lost that game
