stupid and will be distracted by the phony, the false and the fantastic. Sex sells. Scandal sells. Even when it's not true.

People want the news, the truth.

That is why Fox News is the number one cable network. People still tune in to the cartoons on CNN and MSNBC, but for the news, more people go to Fox.

When Dan Rather made stuff up about W, consumers ate it up. What choice did they have, that was all there was. People didn't want to be lied to, no one does. But when your sole source, or your predominant source of the news does nothing but lie, spin and
advocate for their point of view, you get numb to the lies.

People in North Korea don't want the lies dished out by the haircut. But they watch it, because that is all they have. It is all they have known. They don't have Fox News or Rush Limbaugh.
