It just means he is on the court long enough to make a difference in all aspects of the game including rebounding and protecting the rim. While I suspect that his point total has a high correlation with his minutes, even having him on the court and not scoring would be beneficial. We've given up a lot of second chance points off the offensive boards that probably would not happen if Timon was in.
