I think I have cracked the code to Traffic Court

I got a $300 ticket in the mail for unpaid tolls (because Im too lazy to get a toll tag or pay the tolls) that said either pay up your ticket + fines or show up in JP court. I work downtown near the courthouse so I figured I'd go walk down there and try my luck instead of just sending them a check.

I stuffed a bunch of random disheveled work papers into a manilla envelope and put my ticket on top so it'd look like i was going to be a pain in the ass and present a bunch of evidence. Before I could even get a word out the judge put his eyes on that folder and said woah woah, sure you dont want to defer the ticket for $50 and 30 days and I'll dismiss it? Betting on govt laziness works every time 80% of the time.
