Most Arkansas fans’ problems with Anderson are that he’s just good enough to get a 7-10 seed in the tourney and lose in the first weekend, while programs with less tradition and support like South Carolina or A&M have gone deep in the tournament. And then teams like LSU or Auburn are bringing in top 10 recruiting classes with newer coaches. We may not be what we were in the 90’s but I feel like we could at least go to a sweet 16 every now and then with Memphis, Tulsa, Dallas all close by to recruit from on top of the Arkansas kids. Arkansas has actually done a pretty good job of producing basketball players lately as a state, but some of the players have ended up going to Kentucky or Florida.

A lot of fans want Chris Beard but not sure that he’d leave Tech even with a pay increase.
