who are here illegally, vs people you don't know, who are here illegally.
one is worse than the other if you stop and think about it.
but if it isn't obvious when people enter legally we have their passport and visa scanned. there is a record.
conversely, people who enter illegally are a mystery. we don't know anything about them and that is a bigger problem.
the overstays are a problem. no doubt. in sheer numbers they problem is about equal.
but in actuality, the problem of the unknown illegal is a greater risk and therefore should ALSO be addressed.
