1) Tax refunds will be processed & paid by the IRS thereby relieving any 'pin' from the shutdown on the VAST majority of Americans.
2) Food Stamps and Welfare will NOT be paid, placing HUGE pressure on a core Democrat voter base.
3) Federal employees will not be paid.. yet another core Dem voter base.
4) Dem leaders voted for border barriers in the past and are having a hard time explaining WHY they won't vote for it again.
