WBB plays Arky at home tonight...

Did Haley Troup earn a start tonight with her outstanding shooting at Tennessee? Or does RP bring her off the bench for an offensive spark. She hasn't started a game yet. The typical starting lineup this year has has Sophie, Smith, Aldridge, and Schuchts, with the other starting position being split primarily between Levy 4, Roundtree 5, and Chavis 6. More recently it's been Jordan getting the start, and she has played well.
This could be a tricky game. Do we build on the confidence and momentum we got in Knoxville, or relapse into another uninspired home performance that has happened too often this year. Arky is decent, 12-4 on the year, and regarded as a bubble NCAA team right now. 3 of their 4 losses have been to ranked teams, 3 point loss to #19 Arizona St, 9 point loss to #20 Iowa St, and 24 point loss at #7 Miss St. They don't have what I would call any decent wins yet, but did beat a few P5 teams like Nebraska and Wisconsin. We need to get on top of them early and take care of business. If we let them hang around, it could be trouble. We should win handily at home, but let's see which Mizzou team shows up. Hopefully the one that plays with a sense of urgency and gets contributions from several players besides Sophie and Amber.
After the big upset of Tennessee we have a great chance to start the conference season 5-0 heading into a killer 2 game road trip to SC and Kentucky. After Arky tonight we go to 4-11 Florida on Sunday, then back home for an 11-4 Georgia team next week. We are favored in all these games. Georgia has a lot of talent and has lost to Maryland, UCLA, Georgia Tech, and Villanova, and started SEC play by beating LSU and Vandy. But their next 4 games are Miss St, Tennessee, Missouri, and TAMU.
Starting 5-0 and then stealing a game at either SC or UK would set us up nicely for a run at a top 4 finish in the conference and good NCAA seed.
