When Big Bubba Clinton came out of the audience to tell the woman that he "felt her pain" it was a performance but one drawn by the candidate from a time in his life when he knew such pain. Bubba was brilliant at doing this. In Trump's case, he has never felt sympathy. Sympathy is for OTHERS and others have never been of the remotest interest to Don Trump. That was the point. His performance thus fell flat.

Clinton has known pain - can portray pain.
Trump likely can't spell sympathy let alone ever knew it.

I am hard on the man, b/c I don't care for a cheat and fraud.
