I think our society is currently about as impersonal as it has ever been and kids spend all their time living in artificial bubbles of consensus, victimhood, labeling, virtue signaling, etc.

Having an ongoing, immediately shareable record of your life isn't worth the memories you are supposedly capturing.

People sure don't seem very joyful to me.
