may have happened before. People completely absolve cops of any actions before an altercation and just ask 1 question "Was the cop being attacked?" If yes, the guy deserved it.
In many situations the cop instigated the whole thing; the "criminal" may have been attempting to defend themselves. But somehow we've gotten to the point that "defending" yourself against cops is a crime punishable by death.
If someone shoots your dog on your property, you have the right to defend your dog and yourself... unless it's a cop. If this guy would have gotten aggressive, like some people would, and died people would say he deserved it because he attacked... a guy who walked onto his property and shot his dog.
Eric Garner: Wouldn't submit to physical restraint by cops for non-violent crime... "deserved it".
Self-defense is somehow no longer self-defense when dealing with cops; you are expected to accept anything a cop does to you, otherwise you might "deserve to die:.
