No, no we really don't. The diameter of the Earth is 7,917.5

MILES!
Let's put that in perspective. If Elon Handout Musk built us an impossible tunnel from one side of the Earth to the other, it would take 5.5 DAYS, averaging 60 miles per hour, to reach the other side. FIVE DAYS!
Not only do we not know how the Earth was formed, we don't know what's in it, we don't know how it functions, we don't even know what it's doing or why. But Yellowstone is neat isn't it?
The sun, on the other hand, has a diameter 432,169 miles. It's very bright. It's very hot. But we don't know whether it runs by fission, fusion, or based on Elon Handout Musk charging stations. We also don't know how it was created, who created it, how long it has left to 'burn' (if it's even burning.) Nor do we know what 'energies' it's transmitting (if any) to the planets.
What we do have are THEORIES. Lots of theories. Lots of ideas. Lots of SCI-FI movies and books.
Don't confuse entertainment fodder (which is mostly what we've amassed in our scientific material) with actual UNDERSTANDING.
Now, I could be wrong. You build a sun. You build a planet. And you make them behave like our sun and like the planets in our solar system. You do that and at least I'll listen. But until then please don't talk about 'irrefutable' scientific evidence - it's embarrassing...
