a lot of what I've been told.
A cop told me one time to give them what they want & forget about it.
If they have the draw on you your odds of shooting them before they shoot you (or your wife) is very low.
He continued that if you give it to them and they turn to leave and you shoot them, you're going to prison.
This was years ago, however. Before conceal carry laws were passed, much less stand your ground.
In this case his prediction didn't pan out.
