Poll released yesterday suggests blame for the govt shutdown:

"Forty-seven percent of adults in the U.S. hold Trump responsible, while 33 percent blame Democrats in Congress, according to the Dec. 21-25 poll, conducted mostly after the shutdown began. Seven percent of Americans blamed congressional Republicans."


33% blame Dems, despite them not having a majority in either house, while only 7% blame Reps, who hold the majority. Meanwhile, 47% blame Trump, who said he would take full responsibility for the shutdown.

Yeah, I dont think we, as a whole, are very smart (or at least informed) despite our staunch opinions.
