It's not a contest this year with Geist as to who gets more time at the point, however, I saw a true point guard in the development process in that game. He has the instinctive ability to make teammates move consistently with the expectation that they could, likely, be on the receiving end of a pass that no one else on the team could deliver. IMO, as the year progresses, his teammates will all benefit from his ability to create openings in defenses and much easier paths to the rim.
Lord knows what a future with he and the other talent that CM is stacking up could look like.
