We can build a wall and still people will find ways to enter the U.S., as long as poorly run nations are allowed to exist.

By choosing to ignore the chaos around us, we only embolden extremist who want to wreck havoc around the world.

You don't get rid of a virus by just hoping it will go away without treatment.

So what does that mean? It means showing global and regional leadership. Identify the good players in the region and offer financial incentives. It means finding ways to get those nations to collaborate and root out bad leadership in the region. It means committing significant dollars to help bring stability. It will not be easy and will not be inexpensive.

How's that?
