which is why Obama withdrew troops in Iraq. He listened to his base rather than those intimately more knowledgeable about Middle East.

Now people such as you might like the move, just as liberals applauded Obama's move. However, the future will tell us if it was prudent. Given history, I don't think it looks good for Trump.
