It is Lozoya’s third weekly award from the conference. Lozoya averaged 34.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in a pair of games at the Las Vegas Hoopla on December 17 and 18. He scored a career-high 38 points in the Gorillas’ 89-76 win over Indianapolis on Monday. It was the third-highest scoring total since PSU joined the NCAA ranks in 1990. Lozoya scored 30 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out three assists against No. 13 West Texas A&M the next day. For the week, he shot 50 percent from the field (24-48), 43.7 percent from 3-point range (7-16) and 92.9 percent from the free throw line (13-14).
