Should the Fed have raised rates before 2016 because we were in a recovery? Possibly, though I don't think wage growth was where it needed to be and most didn't think we were at full employment yet. When looking at what happened during the last two years, I think we're near the peak.
On the other hand, I didn't think it was necessary to have a stimulus to the economy last year. Now it was a good idea politically because we saw a rising economy and stock market at an ideal time. If you didn't have the idiot tweeting nonsense and unnecessarily stirring the pot internationally, he could have benefited more during midterms.
