He's "only" 6-10. He isn't a shooter. He's not a ball handler. He's not a great shot blocker despite his size. Doesn't even rebound particularly well.
He does very little of what the NBA expects of modern big men.
Tilmon is an old-school power forward who would've been in high demand in the NBA 30 years ago. Not so much now.
Tilmon seems like a good kid who won't be easily swayed into making that decision.
He'll still make a lot of money as a professional basketball player. Maybe even in the NBA. But his role will be limited unless he can expand his offensive repertoire considerably.
