Jakeenan Gant scored a career high 27 points to up his scoring avg to 18.6 ppg, 7.6 boards, 3.2 blocks per game this season. He is 112 points shy of 1,000 career points. He also has 149 career blocks, which would tie Steve Stipanovich for 3rd place all time in MU history.
Willie Jackson is currently avging a double double. The last Tiger to accomplish that feat was Doug Smith in his senior year of 1990-91, and before that Al Eberhard as a senior in 1973-74.
Tremaine Isabell is now 31 points away from 1,000 career points.
KJ Walton is avging 15 ppg on 59.2% shooting.
Namon Wright is shooting 43% behind the arc and is avging 9.1 ppg. He is 126 points away from 1,000 career points.
Its looking very likely that Kim's first class at MU (even minus Teki Gill-Ceasar due to career ending injury) will end up with three 1000 pt scorers.
