the media told us how straight and honest he was. How his record of nonpartisanship and his Republican affiliation all made him above reproach.

He was said to be as honest as the day is long. A good faithful public servant and a great director of our premier law-enforcement agency.

All the media said so… Because they wanted desperately for us to believe him.

They said the same thing about Mueller.
