and I’m not sure you understand what you’re seeing. Can you explain the possessions where you thought Puryear gave up easy baskets?
I found one, near the end, when Watson’s guy got past him and Puryear was caught in no-man’s land and his guy had an open dunk.
He had another in the first half where he was out of position and his guy had a lane to the basket, but JT threw the shot back into the stands.
Other than than, Puryear played good defense as far as I could tell.
