Despite getting swept by 7 seed Nebraska, Mizzou did well in the tournament, whipping Arizona in a coin toss match. Just not enough talent to beat a top 8 team, but could have gotten to the sweet 16 with a better draw.

4 national seeds failed to advance. Florida of course took down FGCU to get to the next round, after they upset 13 UCF. 9 seed Creighton was swept yesterday by Washington; 11 seed USC was swept by San Diego, and 12 seed Pitt was upset by a good Michigan team 3-2. 15 seed Oregon barely made it through with a 3-2 win over Baylor.

No real surprises to me with Florida, Michigan, and Washington making it to the sweet 16 as unseeded teams. Biggest upset was 11 seed USC losing to San Diego, who finished with an RPI of 53.

The remaining field has 6 B1G teams, 4 PAC 12, 2 SEC, plus BYU, Texas, Marquette, and San Diego.

Florida has a punchers chance to upset BYU in the next round. 10 seed Kentucky has a tough match against 7 seed Nebraska, but they are hot now, swept a good Purdue team 3-0 yesterday. I thought Purdue would give them a better match.

Tennessee and South Carolina also went down to Wash St and Minnesota. I thought UT had a good shot at upsetting WSU, and they played them tough, taking one set 25-19 and losing another 30-28. SEC with a very respectable 7-3 weekend in a sport where they are a distant 3rd to the B1G and PAC overall.
