The bailouts of the 9 banks was debatable... on being necessary or not. Who know, if those banks don’t get bailed out, we may have had serious problems. Run on the bank, people not getting cash etc.

The bailout of AIG was a lot more suspect, but it got a pass due to being an insurance giant, closely tied to the financial industry.

Then came the General Motors bailout. Um. What?? It was absurd. There was no viable defense or explanation, yet it happened. Obama made sure of it.

I’m sure there are still some old Obama cronies, including the man himself, tied to the executives still running that government-subsidized automotive company.
