almost every level is going to prepare kids better for D1 ball than HS football in Missouri does.

I don't know that the athletes are any better overall(in relation to population size) but the experience the kids have coming out of HS puts them a notch above a lot of other states(including MO)

They've just played better teams and better talent more regularly. The transition to college isn't as drastic as it is coming out of some states.
