The guy that finished 2nd to the hiring of Frank Broyles was an assistant at Michigan State.

He went on after that to take the Wyoming HC job in 1957.

Later taking the Nebraska job in 1962.

Yeah that's right, Bob Devaney.

If we had him, Dr. Tom would have been his successor.
