Recruiting Odom is now on his own... a look back

According to ESPN on recruiting.

Odom's team this year under Pinkel probably would have been one of those 10-2 seasons packed with star seniors.

Pinkel's last recruiting class:

Highlights

ESPN 6 ESPN top 300/JC Top 50 players
#1 rated player in the country 5 Star Beckner
1 5 star player - 8 - 4 star players

Star players Beckner - Lock - Hall - LEE (14 class top 300) - Fantony - Hall - Blanton - Adams - Hilton

This years Mizzou team featured 10 starters from Pinkels recruiting classes... basically half the starters.

With those guys Odom managed to go to 15-10 over the last two years.

Now lets look at Mizzou recruiting SINCE:

NOT including this year because NO ONE has signed yet... but still 15, 16 and 17 three recruiting classes combined.

ZERO - 5 Stars

THREE - 4 Stars (I don't count Strong he was a Pinkel recruit who came into the program a year late)

ZERO - ESPN Top 300 players

ONE - Espn Top 50 Juco (again strong doesn't count)

So in three years Odom classes he's managed ONE Espn top 50 player, ZERO Espn top 300, and only THREE players listed as a four star.

But on Odom roster this year hold overs he had more Espn top 50 JC, 4 star guys, 5 star guys, and Espn top 300 from ONE YEAR than Odom had in THREE years.

So you guys are seriously excited about the future under ODOM? REALLY???????

Keep in mind Odom has to replace 10 starters with guys he's recruiting starting next season.

How is that going to work out?????
