When Chase was with the Chiefs a few years ago Alex Smith had gotten hurt and Chase played brilliantly in the last game of the reg. season....Chiefs needed another team to lose to get into post season and that team won so they were out..I always felt that if Chase could have had a playoff game or two to show his ability he would gotten a chance to start on another team...I believe he was in the final yr. of his deal that season
