decided to put forth their money to pay for a conservation department. That department, funded by hunters (guys buying guns) and outdoors men restored the deer population. The interesting thing is the taxes used to fund the conservation department was provided by tax's the hunters (guys who like guns) and outdoors men paid on equipment.
But this tax money had to be protected from being raided by the politicians in government to be redirected. If not the politicians would have spent those monies elsewhere and none of this would have happened. You know typical stupid government actions. So you should thank those who bought guns and funded much of the Missouri Conservation Department.
funny thing is politicians are still trying to divert the funding from the conservation department to the general fund for "redistribution".
