We had a bounce-back week last week! 6-3 ATS but we are still a disappointing 38-40-3 on the year. Hopefully, we can get over .500 this week and somehow get into (imaginary) profit next week!
I was very pleased with the MIZZOU effort against Tennessee last week. Arkansas meanwhile looked pretty horrible against Mississippi State last week and now their starting cornerbacks are suspended. Still, MU always seems to get Arkansas' best effort and the weather may be a bit of a factor here. Also, MU has actually been better on the road this year. I don't think this game will be in doubt but let's pick MU to "only" win 38-17 and ARKANSAS (+23) cashes the ticket.
Meanwhile, MU goes on to finish with a nine-win season after the bowl and my 7.5 win ticket cashes the OVER in Vegas!
I've seen enough of this Oklahoma defense to last me quite a while. I'll take the home 'dog in WEST VIRGINIA (+2) to bounce back with a mild upset win this week.
I usually like to take the points in a rivalry game but I'm still not really sold on South Carolina. I guess CLEMSON (-25.5) may hold back a little for the ACC Championship game but I think they can't help but win by over 30 here.
I think COLORADO (+12.5) rallies for a week after the coach was fired. I'll take the points in this game against California.
I'm sold on VANDERBILT (-3) quite a bit more than Tennessee and I like them to win this battle of 5-6 teams at home. I bet this line moves down though as Tennessee will be the public play in all likelihood.
I'll also take FLORIDA (-6) to beat Florida State fairly easily. FSU is just SO poorly coached I think they get exposed a bit here.
I'll take PURDUE (-4) who I really thought would do a better job of building off that Ohio State win. I don't buy the Louisville job distraction stuff. This team has done some big things and wants to close out with at least a 6-6 year and I think Indiana had their inspired performance last week.
Finally, I guess I will take KANSAS STATE (+13.5) - while this D looked horrible against OU, they've performed reasonably well against teams without that type of speed. Even though ISU has some elite playmakers, I think the 'Cats keep up here and lose by 6.
