Underwood did not run off Finke. Never happened. Finke wanted to play a year with his brother. Illinois definitely could have used Finke, but Black is the player Illinois misses. Team him with Giorgi on the front line. Giorgi has been amazing so far.
Frazier showed last night how much Illinois missed him in a tight Georgetown game. Shook off the rust and had 27 in the second half against the Zags.
Kipper Nichols is the biggest disappointment so far. Closed last season with 31 against Iowa but can’t stay out of foul trouble so far this year. Played 9 minutes last night.
Love the UI freshmen. Ayo, Giorgi, Griffin, Jones
